Welcome to My World!

Thanks for stopping by! My name is Suzan Mayumi Turner. I'm a happy stay at home (expat) mom who does photography and theatre every time I get a chance. Here you'll find some glimpses of my life (now in Spain), my art, and my work. Feel free to drop me a line or two. I'd love to hear from you and make new friends!

Back in USA

We're back in USA for our Spanish visa process. It's been almost 2 weeks now and I already miss Spain! We didn't want to come back at all but we knew from the beginning that that was the plan.

We're staying in a hotel. We were planing to stay with some friends but at the end it didn't work out. But the hotel we're staying is quite nice actually. There is a small kitchen in it so we don't have to eat out everyday.

Nicholas as always is doing great! I gotta say I got a wonderful boy here! Sometimes I feel like this whole process has been harder on us than on him. He is always smiling and happy. Of course he gets cranky from time to time but overall he hasn't given us much trouble.  I guess kids adapt easier than us.

I think the hardest thing in this whole crazy adventure is not knowing when we'll be back in Spain. The visa process is a long and not fun journey that must be faced with patience and faith. I think faith is what makes us patient! We know it's God's will for us to be in Spain so we just have to wait patiently for our visas.

So for now I try to look for the bright side. While we're here, I'm trying to hook up with old friends and looking forward to spend some quality time with our family in Ohio :)

And for my friends in Aguilas, os estraño mucho!!!!! Gracias por los mensajes preciosos!

And here are some pics from San Diego! Thanks Hellen and Geann for letting us stay with you guys!

Nicholas and Savannah looking good!

She is sooooooo cute that I wanna have a girl now!

We love San Diego beaches!
